Additional Clinical Information
Comparing ultrasound images from actual examinations next to radiographs is a source of valuable clinical information, but is not practical because of the time it takes to retrieve a particular image from a video tape, or sorting through files for printouts. The Symbionics PACS data management system makes such information available at the click of a mouse for quick and simple side-by-side comparisons.

The Universal Symbionics system is an integrated, digital solution for image acquisition, review, reporting, telecommunication, and archiving of digital data. Symbionics supports and simplifies the workflow in the ultrasound /Radiology/ Cardiology branch of your practice. It generates additional clinic information and improves communication. Symbionics is the perfect tool for offline analysis, like review, serial comparison, reporting and study export.
Improved Productivity
To accelerate the generation of crisp and concise reports, Symbionics PACS also lets you select images to add into electronic documents, integrating them in to the text, rather than stapling them to the printout. To further enhance productivity, measurements from the ultrasound may be transferred from the ultrasound into the report. All reporting may be done off-line – freeing up the ultrasound systems at busy times.
Improved Communication
Symbionics PACS can export clinical data in DICOM format as a complete study, or as PDF reports. Individual images can be converted to multiple formats for inclusion in publications or presentations. The open architecture allows the solution to be connected to different referral groups allowing the user to choose who will read their patients exams, FTP and SERVER based packages are also available for LAN or WAN networks.
